Liverpool are set to sign Fabio Borini from Roma. The 21-year-old Italy international worked with Rodgers at the Chelsea academy and on loan at Swansea.

Here’s some more information about him, for Liverpool fans who haven’t heard of him.
He started his career at Bologna, before moving to Chelsea in 2007. In 2011, he joined Swansea City on loan from Chelsea, when they were competing in the Championship. He scored 6 goals in 9 games for them. He went to Parma, but failed to make an impact. On 31 August 2011, Borini signed for Italian club Roma on loan for €1.25m, with an option to buy for €7m. Borini signed a 1+4 year contract. Whilst on loan he scored 9 goals in 24 games.
Borini has played for Italy once, and played for Italy U21 14 times scoring 3 goals.
