Rodgers revealed earlier this week he could be persuaded to let the centre forward go out on loan, and it is thought that West Ham are very interested in this.
According to ESPN, West Ham United have confirmed to them that they are interested in signing Liverpool striker Andy Carroll on a season-long loan.
Carroll, 23, signed for Liverpool from Newcastle for £35 million in 2011 but struggled after the move, scoring just six Premier League goals in 42 appearances. However he form seemed to get better towards the end of last season, playing very well for England.
Another club that are interested in him are AC Milan, although no approach has been confirmed, it is thought that AC Milan are willing to pay for the player.
Liverpool are already close to signing a new striker, in Roma’s young promising striker Fabio Borini, so it is very unclear whether Andy Carroll is in Rodgers’ plans at Anfield.
